The beauty of tradition and celebration in West African Culture has been brought to life through the collaborative efforts of UK-based wedding planners Just As Planned and Nigerian-based makeup artist Bellezzafaces. They have teamed up create some jaw-dropping looks that would suit a traditional bride, bridal evening wear, Birthday celebrants and a guest who wants to dress to impress. Although there is so much we can say about each look, we’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.

The colour coordination and jewellery matching derives from the stylish minds of the JAP team who have not shied away from bright colours but have rather embraced them to showcase just how beautiful bright colours  in west african attire.  The finishing details in these beautiful jewellery sets add another dimension to an already wonderful look.  These Beautiful head ties and Jewellery sets were provided by Finetex Creative.

How beautiful can a gele be if it is not tied well? The gele-master that is Bellezzafaces put in the work to create flawless pleats that bring out the beauty of each gele. Ladies, for any of us who have tried to tie a gele, I think we can really appreciate how amazingly skilled Bellezzafaces is! The adorable jewel accessories used to adorn some of the head ties give it a unique twist.
